Mr. Phillips' practice is concentrated in real estate and estate/income tax planning for high net worth individuals and families applying sophisticated and creative planning techniques appropriately crafted for each client. Mr. Phillips brings more than 60 years of active practice to the real estate and estate/income tax planning arena giving him a breadth of experience rarely equaled, which includes the use and application of generation skipping tax planning, use of qualified personal residence trusts, charitable lead and remainder trusts in testamentary or inter-vivos situations, private foundations, tax deferred exchanges of real or personal property held for investment or in a trade or business, as well as reverse exchanges and parking transactions. He has handled hundreds of complex real estate transactions, and business acquisitions or sale transactions.
Mr. Phillips is personally active in many charitable and religious organizations and utilizes his experience in assisting such endeavors.
